Delete your account

In the app

Open Account, tap Delete account and enter your password. Your account is deleted at once and cannot be recovered.

Without the app

Write to privacy@merchantroyal.app from the email address you signed up with, and say you want your Merchant Royal account deleted. We will delete it within 30 days and reply to confirm. (If you write from another address, we will ask you to confirm from the account's address first, so no one can delete an account that is not theirs.)

What is erased

Your email address, password, display name and watchlist, and the invite codes you made. The account can never sign in again.

What stays

Your trades and season results stay in your leagues under the name Former player, so the standings your friends played for still add up; they are no longer linked to your email or your name. If you ran a league, it passes to its longest-standing other member. Daily backups are replaced after a limited number of days, so deleted details can remain in a backup until it expires.
